- 3 eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 1/4 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- sprinkle of nutmeg
Directions

1Roll pastry 1/8-inch thick.

2Line a 9-inch pan.

3Fold edges under; flute the edges with fingers.

4Beat eggs lightly.

5Add sugar and salt; blend well.

6Add vanilla and milk.

7Pour into unbaked pie shell.

8Bake in hot oven at 425° for 10 minutes, then reduce the heat to 350° and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until done.

9Sprinkle nutmeg on top of custard before putting into oven.
