Custard Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • dash of cinnamon
  • 1 pie shell

Directions

    In large bowl, mix all ingredients except cinnamon (taste mixture - you may need to add sugar).

    Pour into unbaked pie shell. (If you have too much, bake extra in custard cups.)

    Sprinkle cinnamon on top.

    Bake at 420° for 10 minutes.

    Reduce to 350° for 25 to 30 minutes, until set.

    Do not overcook.

    Serve with Cool Whip, warm or cold.
