  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 c. scalded milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Directions

    Combine in mixing bowl, eggs, sugar, salt, milk and vanilla. Pour into a 9-inch pie shell.

    Sprinkle with nutmeg.

    Bake at 400° for 35 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
