- 3 eggs
- 1/4 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg (or to taste)
- 2 c. milk
- pinch of salt
- 1 pie shell
Directions

1Beat eggs until light.

2Add sugar, salt, nutmeg and milk. Pour in pie shell.

3Bake in hot oven (450°) for 10 minutes, until custard begins to brown on top, then reduce heat to 325°.

4Cook until custard is set (about 30 minutes).
