- 3 eggs, separated
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Directions

1Scald milk.

2Beat egg yolks slightly, add sugar and salt. Stir constantly while adding hot milk.

3Beat egg whites to soft peaks and fold into milk mixture.

4Put into crust and sprinkle with nutmeg.

5Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes.

6Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for 25 minutes.
