  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 (9-inch) pie shell

Directions

    Beat eggs.

    Stir in sugar, salt, vanilla, nutmeg and scalded milk then pour into egg mixture.

    Pour into pastry shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg.

    Bake at 425° for 22 minutes or until firm. Cool and serve.
