  • 2 c. milk
  • 4 c. coarse bread crumbs or 2 c. bread crumbs and 2 c. day old pastry (donuts)
  • 1/4 c. melted butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. raisins (optional)
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

    Scald milk.

    Pour over the bread crumbs.

    Cool.

    Add butter, sugar, eggs, salt, raisins and cinnamon.

    Pour into buttered casserole.

    Bake 45 minutes at 350°.
