- 2 slice Sliced cheese
- 2 slice Sliced Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Place 2 slices of sliced cheese on top of each other, then do the same for the sliced cheddar cheese.

2Cut away the edges (you won't use them).

3Cut the cheese into strips of the same width.

4The strips must be the same width so cut away any excess when you reach the end.

5Line the strips up in the order of cheddar, plain, cheddar, plain, cheddar to create one layer.

6For the second layer, start from the plain strips and build the layer in the same way.

7Repeat Step 3 until you have 5 or 6 layers, and press the layers into place from the top and sides.

8Wrap the cheese in parchment paper and secure firmly in place with masking tape (so that no air can get in).

9Leave the block of cheese to sit in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

10Cut the block into 1 cm thick slices, and cut out a heart, or whatever shape you like, with a cutter.

11If the cheese is hard to remove from the cutter, prepare the cutter beforehand by using it to slice through a thick piece of fish sausage.
