Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. light corn syrup
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 tsp. Lorann flavoring
- powdered sugar (optional)
- food coloring
Directions

1Mix first 3 ingredients in large saucepan.

2Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.

3Boil, without stirring, until temperature reaches 310° (use a candy thermometer) or until drops of syrup form hard, brittle threads in cold water.

4Remove from heat.

5After boiling has ceased, stir in flavoring and coloring. Pour into lightly greased cookie sheet.

6Cool and break into pieces.

7(Use hammer over wax paper.)

8Shake in bag with xxx sugar.

9Store airtight.
