  • Water (Enough To Cover The Celery And Onions)
  • 1 stalk Celery, Diced
  • 1 whole Yellow Onion, Diced
  • 1 pound Ground Beef Or Turkey Burger
  • 1/4 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoons Pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoons Seasoned Salt
  • 1 can (8 Oz. Can) Tomato Sauce
  • 1 can (28 Oz. Can) Chili Beans
  • 2 cans (16 Oz. Can) Tomatoes, Cut Up
  • 1 envelope (about 1 Oz. Envelope) Chili Seasoning Mix

  • FOR TOPPING THE CHILI (optional):
  • Sour Cream
  • Chopped Onions
  • Mozzarella Cheese

Directions

    Add water to a large sauce pan and boil celery and onions for 15 minutes, or until tender. Drain.

    Meanwhile, brown burger meat with salt, pepper and seasoned salt. Cook until meat is brown, drain fat.

    Add all ingredients to a crock pot. Cook on low for 4 hours.

    Serve with sour cream, diced onions and mozzarella cheese cubes.

    Note: If you don't want to use a crock pot, you can bring chili mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 1-2 hours.
