  • 5 to 6 lemons, sliced thin
  • 2 gal. boiling water
  • 8 lb. sugar
  • 1/2 yeast (small) cake

Directions

    Combine the blooms with the lemons and add the boiling water; let stand 3 days.

    Boil 20 minutes.

    When cool, strain through a cloth.

    Add the sugar and yeast cake.

    Place in jars. Set aside to ferment.

    Rack off and seal.
