- 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 3/4 cup flour, all-purpose
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 large eggs separated
- 1 cup milk
- 1 x vegetable oil
- 2 each bananas
- 1 x powdered sugar
Directions

1Stir together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.

2Mix egg yolks and milk together well.

3Add this mixture to the dry ingredients.

4Stir until just blended.

5Beat egg whites until stiff and fold them into batter.

6Heat aebleskiver pan.

7Spoon 1/2 teaspoon oil into each section and fill 23 full with batter.

8Cook over medium heat until bubbles appear.

9Turn with a fork or skewer and cook the other side until lightly browned.

10To vary flavor, add a slice of banana or peach to each section before it is turned.

11Dust with powdered sugar and serve with butter and jam or syrup.
