  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 4 c. pared, sliced apples

    Cream the margarine and sugar.

    Add the rest of the ingredients.

    Bake in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan for 60 minutes at 350°.

    Test with toothpick at 45 minutes.
