Ingredients
- 1 cup loosely packed fresh bread crumbs
- 1/3 cup whole milk
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 9 oz (250g) ground pork
- 9 oz (250g) ground turkey or chicken
- 1 onion, grated
- All purpose flour, for shaping
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Lemon wedges, to serve
Directions

1Mix the bread crumbs, and milk in a medium bowl and let stand 5 minutes.

2Mix in the egg, thyme, salt, and pepper.

3Add the pork, turkey, and onion and mix with your hands until combined.

4With lightly floured hands, shape into about 16 balls.

5Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.

6Add the meatballs and cook, turning often, for 810 minutes, until golden brown.

7Drain on paper towels.

8Serve hot, with lemon wedges.
