Danish Meatballs

  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. ground pork
  • 1 sm. onion, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 dash nutmeg

Directions

    In a large bowl mix beef and pork.

    Do not over work.

    Add the minced onion and salt, pepper and nutmeg.

    Stir in egg and blend.

    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

    Drop the meat mixture in by a tablespoon at a time into the boiling water.

    When the meat balls float to the top they are done and scoop them out with a slotted spoon to drain.

    Serve them with a curry sauce over them.
