- 5 c. flour
- 1 lb. margarine
- 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- 1/2 cake yeast or 1 envelope dry yeast
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- powdered sugar
- Smucker's preserves
Directions

1Cut shortening into flour.

2Add milk, beaten eggs and yeast (which has been dissolved in lukewarm water and vanilla).

3After ingredients are thoroughly mixed, divide dough into small balls. (If dough is too sticky to work with, add flour to right consistency.)

4Layer into bowl with wax paper between layers. Refrigerate overnight.
