- 1 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. almond flavoring
- 1 c. flour
- 3 eggs
Directions

1Mix first 3 ingredients lightly to make pastry, spread on ungreased cookie sheet in 2 pieces 3 x 12-inch.

2Bring to boil 1/2 cup butter, 1 cup water and almond flavoring; remove from stove. Add flour and eggs, one at a time, beating well.

3Spread on pastry; bake 1 hour at 350°.

4When cool, top with frosting, maraschino cherries and slivered almonds.
