- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. rice
- 4 c. milk
- 1/2 pt. heavy cream, whipped
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. diced almonds
- cherry or blueberry sauce or syrup
Directions

1Melt butter in boiler; add milk and cook rice in milk over very low heat until all milk has been absorbed, 20 to 30 minutes. Cool.

2This can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated until needed.

3Before serving, add the whipped cream, vanilla and almonds.

4Serve with fruit sauce or syrup.
