  • 1/2 lb. dates
  • 1/2 lb. white raisins
  • 1/2 lb. candied cherries
  • 1/2 lb. candied pineapple
  • 1/2 lb. citron
  • 1/4 lb. figs

  • 1 oz. chocolate square
  • 1/4 c. grape juice
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 c. honey
