  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. molasses
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 c. walnuts, chopped
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 c. currants
  • mixed fruit
  • 1 small can cherries

    Dissolve soda in molasses.
