  • 1 (8 oz.) box chopped dates
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Combine first 5 ingredients in saucepan; cook until soft and thick, stirring constantly.

    Add remainder of ingredients.

    Mix well and cool.

    Form into small balls and roll in coconut.
