Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 lb. margarine
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. dates, chopped
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 small pkg. coconut

Directions

    Simmer first 5 ingredients for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring frequently.

    Add Rice Krispies and nuts.
  3. 3
    When cool enough to handle, shape into balls and roll in coconut.
