- 1 stick oleo
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 c. nuts
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 egg yolks
- 7 1/2 or 8 oz. pkg. chopped dates
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 can coconut
Directions

1Melt oleo in heavy pot. Add sugar and work good.

2Let cool. Add egg yolks, dates and nuts.

3Mix together.

4Cook over low heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.

5Add vanilla and Rice Krispies.

6Cool until can handle.

7Roll into balls and roll in coconut.
