Ingredients

  • 1 stick oleo
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 7 1/2 or 8 oz. pkg. chopped dates
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1 can coconut

Directions

    Melt oleo in heavy pot. Add sugar and work good.

    Let cool. Add egg yolks, dates and nuts.

    Mix together.

    Cook over low heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.

    Add vanilla and Rice Krispies.

    Cool until can handle.

    Roll into balls and roll in coconut.
