Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 8 oz. box chopped dates
  • 2 to 2 3/4 c. Rice Krispies
  • 3/4 c. pecans
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 box coconut

Directions

    Melt butter and add egg, sugar and chopped dates.

    Cook in skillet at 300° for 6 minutes, stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat and add cereal, nuts and vanilla.
  4. 4
    Form balls and roll in coconut.
