  • 1/2 lb. dates, chopped
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 3/4 c. chopped nuts
  • shredded coconut

Directions

    Cook dates, sugar, butter and egg together until soft.

    Cool slightly and add vanilla, Rice Krispies and nuts.
