- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 lb. chopped dates
- dash of lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 c. Rice Krispies
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- dash of salt
Directions

1Melt butter with 1 1/2 c. sugar; add dates, lemon juice and milk.

2Cook until soft and mushy.

3Beat eggs.

4Add to fruit mixture with vanilla and salt.

5Add Rice Krispies and nuts; cool. Shape into balls and roll into coconut, chopped nuts or powdered sugar.
