- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. pitted, chopped dates
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
- powdered sugar
Directions

1Cook butter, sugar and dates until thick.

2Remove from heat; add nuts, vanilla and Rice Krispies.

3Dip with teaspoon and roll into balls.

4Roll in powdered sugar or coconut.

5Let cool on waxed paper and store in cookie can.

6Makes 2 to 3 dozen.
