  • 1 c. chopped dates
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. Miracle Whip
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Directions

    Put dates into boiling water and let set. Mix sugar, Miracle Whip, flour, soda and vanilla. Add date mixture; mix well. Pour into greased 13 x 9-inch cake pan. Sprinkle top with nuts and chocolate chips. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
