  • 1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
  • 1 c. chopped dates
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 box Town House crackers
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • 4 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cook condensed milk and dates in double boiler until dark and creamy; stir constantly.

    Turn off heat, but leave in boiler; stir in pecans.

    Spoon on crackers and bake at 350° for about 6 to 8 minutes or until brown.

    Let cool completely.

    Mix softened cream cheese, butter, sugar and vanilla until creamy. Top on cooled crackers.
