- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- 1 tsp. mustard (optional)
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 green pepper, cut into strips
- 2 lb. carrots, sliced
Directions

1Cook sliced carrots in salted water until they are just tender, not soft.

2Drain.

3Pour tomato soup into pan; add sugar, vinegar and oil.

4Simmer until hot and sugar is dissolved.

5Add sliced onions and green pepper.

6Let stand a few minutes.

7Add the carrots and refrigerate.
