  • 3 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1/2 c. small pecan pieces
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 8 oz. chopped dates
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Directions

    In large bowl, combine Rice Krispies and pecans.

    In skillet, combine butter, sugar, dates and eggs.

    Cook seven minutes slowly, stirring constantly.

    Pour over Rice Krispies and pecan mixture and mix.
  5. 5
    Roll in small balls.
  6. 6
    Roll in coconut if desired.

    Place on wax paper to cool.

    Butter hands when rolling out to prevent sticking to hands.
