Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 8 oz. chopped dates
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/4 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • flaked coconut

Directions

    Cook butter and dates on low heat until dates dissolve.

    Add sugar and eggs; cook 10 minutes more.

    Remove from heat.

    Add vanilla, cereal and nuts.

    Cool.

    Make into balls and dip into coconut.
