- 1/2 c. margarine
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped dates
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- 1 (7 oz.) bag shredded coconut
Directions

1In a skillet, melt margarine; then add sugar, egg and dates. Stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil (10 to 12 minutes).

2Remove from heat and stir in Rice Krispies, nuts and vanilla.

3With wet hands, roll a teaspoon of mixture into a ball. Roll in shredded coconut.
