- 1 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 c. butter
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped dates
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 1/2 c. slightly crushed corn flakes
Directions

1Sift together flour, salt and soda.

2Set aside.

3In a large mixing bowl, beat butter to soften.

4Add sugar and beat until fluffy.

5Add egg and vanilla; beat well.

6Stir in flour mixture. Stir in dates and nuts.

7Drop by teaspoons into corn flakes and roll until covered.

8Place on ungreased cookie sheet; flatten slightly and bake at 375° for 10 minutes.

9Do not overbake.
