  • 3 1/2 cups flour, all-purpose

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 18 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups dates chopped
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 cup pecans chopped

    Cooking filling over medium heat until thick.

    Once thick add the pecans.

    Drop 1 teaspoon dough, add 1/2 teaspoon filling and 1/2 teaspoon dough on top onto baking sheets Bake at 375F (190C) F until golden brown.
