Ingredients
- 1 lb. dates
- 2 pkg. pitted dates, pulled apart (but whole)
- 1 lb. nuts (3 halves or chopped)
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 whole eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Sift all dry ingredients.

2Sift over fruit and nuts in large bowl.

3In a separate bowl, beat the 4 eggs and add vanilla.

4Pour over ingredients in a loaf pan.

5Bake 1 hour at 250° (slow oven). May take longer.

6(Grease loaf pan with Crisco, line with wax paper and grease paper also.)
