- 1 lb. English walnuts
- 1 pkg. dates
- 1 (1 lb.) box vanilla wafers
- 1 can Eagle Brand milk
- 1 juicy lemon
- confectioners sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cold water
- candied fruit (optional)
Directions

1Crush crackers in food processor; mix with Eagle Brand milk. Cut nuts, dates and fruit together.

2Pour lemon juice and water over them; stir well.

3Roll cracker crumbs that have been mixed with the milk in the sugar (just enough to keep from sticking). Spread out same as biscuit dough.

4Spread nuts, dates and fruit on dough; roll it like a jelly roll.

5Let chill about 6 to 8 hours. Slice as you would a jelly roll.
