- 1 lb. dates
- 1 heaping qt. shelled pecans
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1 lb. coconut
- 1 lb. white raisins
- 3/4 lb. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 eggs
Directions

1Cut dates.

2Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar and then sift over dates, pecans, coconut and raisins.

3Melt butter and add with vanilla.

4Mix.

5Beat egg yolks until creamy smooth and add.

6Mix well.
-
7Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in very gently.

8Pour into a greased and lined tube pan.

9Bake at 275° for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
