  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. chopped dates
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 egg whites
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. nuts

Directions

    Mix egg yolks and sugar together; heat until very creamy. Sift flour and baking powder; add to nuts and dates.

    Fold into the egg yolk mixture.

    Beat egg whites and fold into all of mixture.

    Bake in a low temperature oven, 275°, until golden brown, about 40 minutes.
