  • 3/4 lb. sharp cheese
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1 lb. sausage, cooked and drained
  • 10 eggs

Directions

    In a 10 x 6 x 2-inch dish, slice half the cheese to cover the bottom.

    Mix seasonings with sour cream; spread half of sour cream mixture over cheese.

    Spread crumbled sausage over sour cream mixture.

    Break whole eggs on top of sausage.

    Puncture each yolk so it will flatten slightly.

    Spread remaining sour cream mixture and top with remaining grated cheese.

    Bake at 325° for 40 to 45 minutes (until eggs are firm).

    Great with fresh fruit and homemade biscuits.
