Day Ahead Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 8 to 10 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 to 2 tsp. onion salt or 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 2 to 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • paprika (optional)

Directions

    Cook potatoes.

    Mash with remaining ingredients until smooth and fluffy.

    Put into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch casserole dish. Cover and place in refrigerator.

    Will keep from 4 to 14 days. Four hours before serving, remove from refrigerator and let come to room temperature.

    Sprinkle top with butter and paprika and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
