- 1 to 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. Gold Medal flour
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 12 c. sliced apples
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Heat oven to 425°.

2Prepare your favorite pastry.

3Stir together sugar, flour, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt.

5Turn into ungreased 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.

7Unfold pie crust over fruit; fold edges under just inside edge of pan.

8Bake 1 hour or until juice begins to bubble through slits in crust.
