  • 1 frozen pie crust, baked (9-inch)
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 can evaporated milk (1 2/3 c.)
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate, broken up
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt in large saucepan.

    Gradually stir in evaporated milk and water.

    Add chocolate; cook and stir over medium heat until chocolate is melted and mixture boils. Stir in vanilla.

    Chill for 3 hours before serving.
