Deer Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground deer meat
  • butter
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 1/4 c. chopped celery
  • 1 1/4 c. Uncle Ben's wild rice
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 c. water
  • 4 Tbsp. soy sauce

Directions

    Brown deer, then saute onion and celery in butter until tender.

    Mix all ingredients together and bake, covered, at 350° for 30 minutes.

    Remove cover and bake and additional 30 minutes. Serve with a side dish of broccoli.
