- 4 lb. deer meat, cut into strips 1 x 2 x 8-inch
- 2 tsp. salt
- 4 tsp. powdered barbecue seasons
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. curry powder
Directions

1Mix salt, barbecue seasons, chili powder and curry powder. Cut away all fat and gristle from strips of meat.

2Pound the meat with a meat hammer on a wooden cutting board.

3Shake on seasonings as you beat.

4Place strips on cookie sheets.

5Place in oven for 7 hour on 150° or place under wood stove overnight.

6Turning the strips as they dry.

7The deer jerky will preserve longer than it will stay around.
