  • 1 qt. soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 8 oz. Karo light syrup
  • 4 tsp. liquid smoke
  • 3 tsp. course black pepper
  • 3/4 tsp. red pepper
  • water (add enough to make 1/2 gallon)
  • deer meat - 1 ham

    Prepare marinade in gallon glass jar.

    Use lean meat.

    Cut into 1/4 inch strips. Soak meat to remove blood.

    Put meat in jar with marinade; mix well.

    Refrigerate for 3 to 4 days.

    Mix daily in the jar.
