- 2 to 3 lb. cut up meat
- bacon fat
- 2 large sliced onions
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 3 Tbsp. ketchup
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Brown cut up meat in bacon fat.

2Add sliced onions and continue to brown.

3When nicely browned, stir in flour.

4Place in baking dish and add vinegar, ketchup, sugar, salt and pepper. Cover meat with water; bake in 375° oven for 2 to 3 hours or until tender, adding water as needed to keep meat covered.

5When done, thicken gravy and serve.

6Serves 4 to 6.
