- 3 whole chicken breasts, halved
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 (10 1/2 ounce.) cans cream of celery soup
- 2 (5 ounce.) cans water chestnuts, liquid removed
- 1/2 c. California dry white table wine
Directions

1Brown chicken in butter on both sides.

2Season and place in baking pan.

3Add in soup to butter in browning pan and blend.

4Add in thinly sliced water chestnuts and wine.

5Stir well and pour over chicken.

6Bake at 375 degrees for 50 min, moistening with more wine, if necessary.

7Boneless breasts may also be used.

8Steamed rice, snow peas and as dessert, lime sherbet with fortune cookies combine for a nice meat.
