  • 1 c. sugar
  • 20 oz. can crushed pineapple
  • 1 (3 oz.) box instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 8 oz. carton Cool Whip
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Prepare cake mix as directed in 9 x 13-inch pan.

    As cake bakes, simmer together pineapple and sugar.

    As you remove the cake from the oven, punch holes in it and cover with pineapple. Chill.

    Mix by box directions the pudding with coconut and spread over pineapple.

    Top with Cool Whip and sprinkle with pecans.
