- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 3 cups water
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can no-salt-added diced tomatoes
- 1 (15 ounce) can no-salt-added black beans, rinsed and drained
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 (5.6 ounce) package Knorr(R) Fiesta SidesTM - Spanish Rice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat; add onion and garlic. Cook until meat loses its pink color and browns, and onions have softened. Drain fat from the skillet.

2Pour water into skillet; add tomatoes, black beans, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer; reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes.

3Bring to a boil. Add rice. Reduce heat to low and cover; simmer until rice is tender, about 7 minutes.
